Test 1 for Mors: Walking siiimmm walking simmmm
MY FIRST DEVLOG YEY!
Also my first game jam submission, nice!
Man, I really had some adventure just making my character move. From how he'd be animated each frame, to how fluid it'd feel when walking by adjusting his speed and the fps. Big stuff already, and I'm learning from scratch with js! Really hard, but I really had fun doing this even though it didn't fit the theme for the jam, or just took a "step" (literally a walking sim).
Well, that's what the goals list is for on my project's page xd. I'm actually doing some other tests now and go inject the codes into this one.
Speaking of coding, I learned a lot of class-based programming/principles from what I'm watching on youtube as it's what I used here. I think I'll stick to it more because many games uses class-based stuff. I guess this is a milestone lol.
And now let's talk about game art.
It's really hard. That's all I have to say.
I mean it took most of my time on making the game than coding itself! Wew, I guess I'll have to use some free assets out there and not rely too much on my poor skill xd. But I do believe and am trying to improve hehe.
Anyhow, that's all I have to say, hope the person who sees this tries to enjoy the walking simulator I uploaded xd. More updates soon!!!!
